A glittering opening ceremony was held at the iconic Wankhede stadium, amongst an enthusiastic crowd, right before the first IPL match!
The event featured some sensational performances by many popular Bollywood A-listers like Tamannah, Varun Dhawan, Hrithik Roshan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Prabudeva. In this much-awaited opening ceremony many sensational dance numbers were performed. While Tamannah’s entry on ‘Jio Re Bahubali’ (Zee Music) totally enthralled the audience, a joint performance by the dance maestro ‘Prabhudeva and heart-throb Varun Dhawan on ‘Muqala Muqabala’ (Tips Music) got everyone up to their feet! It was a delight to watch Prabhudeva grooving on his signature song ‘Urvashi Urvashi’ (another Tips Music gem), fetching him a roaring cheer from the crowd!! This time around the IPL Season 11 experience, as promised, is surely more glamorous than previous ones and we look forward to a memorable tournament.
