Novex Communications supports CSR Initiative “Rising Star Outreach – Chennai” by Marriott Hotels

Novex Communications Pvt. Ltd. feels proud to be part of a CSR Initiative organized by Marriott Hotels. Marriott under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative is supporting an event by Marriott Home “Rising Star Outreach – Chennai” for children affected with leprosy and Novex is equally enthralled to take part in such a Noble cause. This Annual fundraiser event is to be held on 2nd November 2018 in Chennai.

As per World Health Organization (WHO), there is a massive decline in leprosy count in India. However 2015 global report claims to have almost 60% people detected with leprosy from India. There are various steps taken by both Government and Social Initiatives by corporates to ensure this disease is do away with from the roots.

In April 2004, to support and ensure success, Rising Star Outreach was started with a small rented home and 27 children that led to a movement of around 350 children in very less time. Indian Government recognized Rising Star for the high standard of care and excellence for the children to prepare entering mainstream society.
